Senior Category Manager | Inside IR35 | Hybrid Working
Gravitas are seeking an experienced and strategic Category Manager to join our client's rapidly transforming procurement team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for commercial leadership of a wide portfolio of supply categories, across Marketing, Operations, Product, HR, Finance and Facilities. The role will involve acting as a business partner to directors and contract owners, providing advice and guidance for Procurement and supplier-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum of 8 years within a similar role, with extensive experience of contract negotiation.
- Develop and implement category management strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.
- Conduct market analysis to identify and evaluate new suppliers, technologies and trends.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage supplier relationships to ensure delivery of high-quality products and services.
- Develop and implement strategies to manage risks associated with supply chain activities.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with finance and other departments to develop cost models and negotiate contracts.
- Stay up to date with market trends, regulations, and industry best practices.
