We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong automotive experience
Location: Utrecth
Rate: 65 EUR/Hour
Length: 12months
From the Practice Software Quality Engineering we help clients to get and keep a grip on the effectiveness and efficiency of their software deployment so that costs and risks are reduced. Because we have a track record in quality assurance and testing, the market knows; When it comes to technical testing of software applications, we find us more and more often.
Responsibilities
You will be part of a team responsible for the software quality of automotive systems across multiple levels, using automation where appropriate to maximise the efficiency of your solutions. Good verbal and written communication is essential for this role.
Your role will also include but not be limited to:
Contribute to release planning
Drawing up a test plan, test strategy & approach
Managing test activities of your area of responsibility
Monitor and report progress
Defect management with suppliers and internal departments
Qualifications
Experience: 8-10 years in automotive
Essential skills
Excellent communication skills (English)
Skilled in the use of Python programming for test purposes including data analysis with the Pandas library
Project experience of the Robot Framework, including maintenance of all test assets
Use of SQL for test data management
Use of AsciiDoc (or similar product) for documentation
Understanding of CAN protocol J1939
Experience of working with test benches for TCUs/ECUs
Basic understanding of low-level software/hardware systems
Use of Azure DevOps
Delivered projects with the Scrum agile methodology
