Maxegan Recruitment are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Business Analyst for an exciting permanent opportunity based within a leading UK client.

Within the role, you will sit between the business and vendor partner, working on continuous improvement of the SAP system and FICO RTR/R2R solution and helping drive this forward globally.

Duties within the role, include:

• Support the SAP solution to ensure it is fully and consistently adopted, as intended - including areas such as processes, workflows, training and documentation.
• Be a custodian for the global business processes supported by SAP to drive consistency.
• Gather and analyse proposed changes to the SAP environment in order to assess the impact and priority of changes.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for agreed changes to ensure the SAP environment is updated correctly.
• Provide SAP application knowledge in relevant areas on best practices and troubleshooting techniques to help drive improvements in the solution.
• Support the development and governance of the change/release plan to ensure changes are timely and well-managed
• Provide structured input and advice to the Design Authority governance body.

For this exciting career opportunity, you will need:

• Broad knowledge and experience of SAP FICO and R2R/RTR processes
• Strong experience of implementing and supporting SAP systems
• Accountancy background is essential including knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping
• CO-PA and BPC knowledge is required
• Excellent, clear communication skills both written and verbal - ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
