We're partnered with a German Med-tech startup innovating surgical planning by augmenting & supplementing Surgeon and Doctors, harnessing 3D modelling software. You will join as one of their Software Engineer.

You will lead Back End software development, whilst also collaborating closely with the founding team (CTO, CEO, & Chief Doctor) and the entire machine learning/data team. You'll also be responsible for optimising, implementing, and maintain a scalable and reliable safety critical features.

Whilst working alongside one of the Founders, a qualified Medical Doctor, you'll also liaise directly with surgeons and hospitals beta testing and piloting the product. Development is nearing completion, with AI and Machine Learning capabilities completed, and a hard launch planned for mid-2024.

Software Engineer Responsibilities

• Develop & optimize Back End pipeline & capabilities to enhance scalability and security.
• Collaborate with Front End developers & machine learning teams to integrate Back End, Front End & data systems.
• Full verification and testing of software systems.
• Work with the medical team and pilot customers (doctors/hospitals) to enhance product usability & develop new features

Software Engineer Requirements

• Proficient in Python Back End development, developing, integrating & scaling systems
• Medtech or Medical background desired but not necessary
• Fluency in English required
• Commit to Hybrid work (flexible 2-3 days in office)

• 33 days paid vacation (including full days at Christmas Eve and NYE)
