IT Incident Manager - Amersham - £31,000 to £33,000

I am currently partnered with a UK retail company, based in Amersham. We are looking to recruit an IT Incident Manager to join their head office. This role will offer the successful candidate a greater understanding of the retail industry and give them exposure to a major companies IT infrastructure.

IT Incident Manager will monitor the IT systems to ensure that they can maintain their day-to-day activities. The IT Incident Manager will identify interface errors and IT batch failures and resolve these issues.

IT Incident Manager will be required to work out of hours shift work. The role is set to a rota: 6am-3pm/10am-7pm/1pm-10pm. IT Operation Engineer will stick to the time slot for a week and change the next week.

Responsibility of the IT Incident Manager:

- Maintain an awareness of all alerts and problems from all areas of IT

- Receive and communicate any issues and problems to the appropriate teams

- Escalate all major production and operation issues to management

- Regular communication with 3rd party venders and external support

- Input the change and problem management

- Improve and streamline the production systems by recommending improvements

Requirements of the IT Incident Manager:

- 1+ years of IT experience in the retail sector

- A good understanding of the File transfer protocol (FTP)

- Strong knowledge of the Retail landscape in an IT capacity

- Good communication and personal skills

- Ability to prioritise different tasks effectively
