Our Liverpool based client is urgently looking for a Service Transition Manager to join a great team.

You will be tasked with the following,

• Owning and governing the Service Transition process and documented artefacts. Measuring process success through KPIs, identifying and articulating any impacts to process performance.
• Owning and maintaining the documented set of Service Acceptance Criteria with respective criteria owners.
• Managing a timeline view of all project activity and its current stage within the Service Transition process. Identifying and communicating any risks, holding delivery owners to account for agreed deliverables.
• A responsible stage gate approver that ensures effective transfer to operational support, in compliance with the Service Transition Process for all new/changed services introduced via the project life cycle.
• Work with Project Managers, Business Owners, Service Owners, Product Owners, Managed Service Partners, Operations teams and 3rd parties to ensure that projects are delivered in compliance with the Service Transition Process.
• Represent the Service Operations team at all project meetings to define and implement service acceptance criteria for both new and changing services.
• Ensure that any new 3rd party contracts contain an agreed support schedule which aligns with the proposed support model and is backed up with SLAs managed through regular service reviews.
• Experience working in an IT service environment within a complex and diverse organisation.
• Experience working in a service environment where ITIL service management principles and processes are implemented.
• Experience working in Financial Services, is desirable.
