Payroll Administrator

We are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator based in the Ecclesfield or Barnsley area

Key Duties:

• Payroll submissions to the HMRC

• Dealing with NI

• Checking tax codes

• RTI submissions

• Weekly and Monthly payroll run

• Data Entry onto an Excel spreadsheet

• Adhoc payroll duties

• Dealing with all related payroll queries

• Processing starters, leavers, personal and contractual change, holiday pay, statutory payments

• P45/ P46/ P60

• Payroll summaries

• To be fully HMRC compliant

• Dealing with external enquiries

Person Specification:

• Previous Payroll experience

• Previous experience with Brightpay system would be an advantage

• Fast and Accurate Data Entry Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Possess an excellent telephone manner

• Exceptional customer service skills

• First class written and oral communication skills

• Ability to work to deadlines

• Excellent time management skills

• The ability to liaise with personnel at all levels of the business
