We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Branch Manager to join us based at our site in Knaresborough on a full time, permanent basis. The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary and fantastic benefits!

We are looking to recruit a motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our branch in Knaresborough which has a committed and experienced team supplying a whole range of building materials within the local area. Responsibilities of the Assistant Branch Manager role include:

- Supporting the Branch Manager in the day to day running of the branch

- Covering the Branch Manager’s role in their absence

- Providing an excellent customer service within all branch departments

- Focusing on sales growth and the development of customer relationships both face to face and via the telephone

Skills and attributes required of our Assistant Branch Manager:

- Excellent communication skills

- Must be self-driven and genuine with a positive attitude

- Must have experience of leading a team or be ready to take that next step

- Must have a desire to interact with customers and sell the benefits of the company

- IT literate

- Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload.

- The ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships

- Previous customer service experience or knowledge of building products would be beneficial
