Director, Infrastructure Engineering

Salary: Open + Bonus

Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ or Omaha, NE

Hybrid: 4 days on-site, 1 day remote

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a large scale and dynamic infrastructure leading product and automation engineers
• Experience with one or multiple API management platforms like Apigee, Datapower, Kong, MuleSoft, etc.
• Extensive experience in automation, observability, and performance engineering in a cloud-based environment
• Strong technical expertise in monitoring tools, log analysis platforms
• Experience designing and implementing High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions
• Working knowledge of networking protocols and components including TCP/IP, DNS, CIFS

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and operations of APIM and Streaming products. Provide leadership and support in driving automation initiatives across the department, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices
• Communicate technology initiatives and roadmaps effectively between Developers, Product managers, and Projects managers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify manual processes, and design and implement scalable automation solutions to increase operational efficiency and reduce human errors
• Provide technical support for business and client partners
• Develop and document technical and non-technical infrastructure related processes
• Accountable for budgeting and vendor management
