Senior Cloud Automation Engineer

Salary: $130k-$150k

Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ or Omaha, NE

Hybrid: 4 days in-office, 1-day remote

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with a focus on IaC.
• Proven experience in solution architecture, including designing and implementing scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
• Extensive hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates and scripts using industry-standard tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Leverage IaC practices to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure resources.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams; Act as a technical advisor, providing guidance on infrastructure design and implementation decisions.
• Create comprehensive documentation, including architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and guidelines, to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure a clear understanding of infrastructure components and their interdependencies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design infrastructure solutions that align with organizational goals and best practices.
