Job Title: Workday Technical Lead

Role is outside IR35 and Fully remote

The Workday Senior Developer will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of Workday, including the seamless integration with SAP payroll. The incumbent will be responsible for leveraging technical expertise to design, develop, and configure Workday solutions aligned with project requirements.

Objectives:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop customized Workday solutions that align with business needs and integrate seamlessly with SAP payroll.
• Leverage technical expertise to ensure a smooth and efficient data migration and integration process between Workday and SAP payroll, including PECI files and configurations.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices, including transaction logs and data reconciliation.
• Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability and accuracy of Workday solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with functional analysts, HR, Payroll, and IT teams to understand project requirements and develop technical solutions in Workday.
• Lead the design and configuration of Workday integrations, including inbound and outbound integrations with SAP payroll, specifically addressing PECI files and data transformation.
• Develop and maintain Workday custom reports, calculated fields, and data transformation logic to support integration requirements.
• Utilize in-depth experience in Workday Studio and Workday Extend to create sophisticated integrations and extensions.
• Collaborate with the Data Migration team to design data extraction, transformation, and loading processes between systems, ensuring accuracy in transaction logs.
• Participate in the development and execution of test plans, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of Workday configurations and integrations.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers and support their professional development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Workday configurations, integrations, PECI files, and transaction logs.
• Stay up-to-date with Workday releases, updates, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to enhance project deliverable

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience as a Workday Developer, including configuration, custom reporting, integrations, and PECI files handling.
• In-depth knowledge of Workday's data model, integration architecture, and payroll functionalities.
• Proficiency in Workday Studio and Workday Extend for creating complex integrations and extensions.
