We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for an Application Engineer (IBM-ELM). The role is a permanent position based in Bern or Solothurn Canton (depending on candidate preference) & comes with good home office allowance.

Your Role:

• Implement & optimize a leading engineering life cycle management platform for product & software development (IBM-ELM).
• Administrate & further develop modules for Requirement Engineering (Doors Next) & Engineering Test Management (Test Management for Software & System Tests).
• Setup Tools & integrate & further develop the IBM-ELM Platform.
• Supervise & support departments in Application, System & Process issues (2nd level).
• Train different user groups with training documents created according to their needs.
• Coordination between users, IT, external bodies & project coordination.

Your Skills:

• At least 2 years of professional experience as an Application Engineer or similar.
• Experienced in the Support & Integration of IT Systems.
• Any experience in IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management Platform or similar content management systems (eg Polarion) is considered very advantageous.

Your Profile:

• Completed IT Training or University Degree with specialization in Computer Science or similar.
• Ideally further educated/certified in the Support & Integration of IT Systems.
• Motivated, communicative & team-oriented.
• Fluent in English (spoken & written) & a good command of German (ideally to at least B1 Level).
