As we embark on an exciting journey of growth and progress, we are seeking a Temporary IT Technician to join our team for a 3-month contract.

Position Overview:

As a Temporary IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school's IT systems during this dynamic period. Your responsibility will include providing technical support to our school staff and students, maintaining and troubleshooting various IT equipment and software, and contributing to the overall success of our educational institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site IT support for staff and students.
• Assist with the maintenance and troubleshooting of school software, including but not limited to Office 365.
• Support and maintain laptops, projectors, and other educational technology.
• Reset passwords and manage user accounts as needed.
• Log and prioritize IT support tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement improvements in the school's IT infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with IT security protocols and data protection guidelines.
• Assist with any other IT-related tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Enhanced DBS Clearance is mandatory for this role.
• Prior experience working in school environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with typical school software and educational technology.
• Proficiency in Office 365 and other common IT tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.
