Job Title: Quality Engineer.

Location: Broughton, UK

Type of role: 12 months Contract

Pay Rate: £30.00 umbrella per hour.

iO Associates is seeking for Quality Lineside Engineer/Quality Engineer to primarily focus on Engineering/Manufacturing sector with QMS process, Risk management, Continuous Improvement, and Root Cause Analysis to be focused on ensuring the quality standards are continually maintained. Company based out in Broughton, UK. They are the industry leader in the design, production, and delivery of aeronautical goods and services.

Required:

• Quality or engineering based background within a major manufacturing industry is desirable.
• Ability to problem solve and use associated problem-solving tool sets (knowledge/Use of PPS, 5Y, Ishikawa are desirable but not a necessity).
• Data analysis skills - interpret data sets, graphical data and draw conclusions and Ability to interpret drawings.

Responsibilities:

• To provide specialist Quality support and advice on drawings, parts, processes, and support services, and to independently assure that Quality requirements have been met.
• Assures that the Quality system is being adhered to within the business by the business through surveillance activities.
• Coordination and leadership of reported quality/technical issues from business teams and customers.
• To perform initial investigations (eg, Events, QLB's, NC's) to assess probable root cause, informing the accountable function and ensuring corrective and preventative action is taken ambition is within one shift).
• To conduct investigations to assess the probable root cause of any deficiency noted during process confirmation activities, informing the accountable function, and ensuring corrective and preventive action is taken.
