Communications Design Engineer
£70-73/hr Inside IR 35
Bristol/Hybrid working.
6 months initially (highly likely to extend)

IO Associates is urgently looking for a contract Communications Design Engineer to join one of their client's tactical systems team in Bristol. They're working at the forefront of the defence technology industry and this role will see you playing a key role on a complex tactical communications system to enhance the required defence capabilities and critical assets.

The role will involve the creation of technical data across the Systems Engineering (SE) life cycle to support all Mission System initiatives and new commercial prospects and ensure the calibre of the engineering outputs that have been assigned.

Skills Required

• Strong Systems design engineering background.
• Designing of safety, security and ARM.
• Validation, Verification, Systems issues, functional analysis.
• Communication networks: LAN/WAN
• Establishing, preserving, and adhering to technical guidelines and documentation
• Eligible for SC Clearance
