Job Title: Temporary AV Technician (2-4 weeks)

We are seeking a Temporary AV Technician to provide immediate support at our educational institution in Oxford. The post is expected to last for 2 to 4 weeks. This is an urgent requirement, and the selected candidate will need to start as soon as possible, ideally within the next week.

Responsibilities:

1. Basic AV Setup: The primary responsibility of this role is to assist with basic AV setup tasks. This includes carrying AV equipment and accessories as needed and plugging in equipment following supplied instructions.

2. Support and Assistance: Provide support and assistance to our AV team in ensuring that all AV setups and configurations run smoothly during this temporary period.

3. Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting any minor technical issues that may arise during events or classroom sessions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• No formal qualifications are required for this role; however, basic technical aptitude and the ability to follow instructions are essential.
• Prior experience with AV equipment or similar tasks is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively.

Working Conditions:

• This role falls inside IR35.
• The position is temporary and expected to last between 2 to 4 weeks.
• The role may require occasional lifting and carrying of AV equipment.
• The candidate will be provided with clear instructions for all tasks.
• DBS clearance is required
