Insurance Claims Handler

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Claims Handler to join a busy local authority in North London for an initial 12 weeks, which is likely to be extended beyond.
The day to day role will involve:
• Assisting the small claims team
• Dealing with insurance claims to council services/external customers
• Handling caseload for claims of up to £25,000
• Proficient knowledge of IT systems essential
• Providing support to other secretaries and departments when required
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months’ experience working in a similar role. They will possess excellent attention to details and experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
