The opportunity

We're looking for an Operations Analyst Team Lead on behalf of our client, a market leading financial association with a number of bespoke business critical internal applications.

This is a truly unique opportunity which will lead a small team of application support specialists who as subject matter experts within this area are responsible for resolving issues quickly and efficiently.

This is a new position, brought about by growth within the department and will involve a variety of key responsibilities. The role would align well with previous experience in application support, team leadership and software development.

This role offers an ideal environment for the right candidate to take their career to the next level and make a real impact on the organisation by implementing process improvements and providing critical management insight to key departments.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert across the organisations applications
• Manage two application support specialists to ensure all application service desk issues are resolved by the team
• Provide management information on application metrics and reporting statistics
• Seek continuous improvement in regards to application issues

Key Skills and experience

• Experience in supporting business critical applications
• Exposure to a service desk environment and resolving issues in a timely manner
• A desire to lead a close knit applications support team - any team leadership experience would be desirable however not essential
• A desire for continuous improvement
