Location: Farnborough and Corsham, UK (5 days onsite)

Company Overview:

Tank Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our client's team for a 10-month contract engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise in Storage Networking, VxRail, VCF on VxRail, and Hyper Converged Infrastructure to a dynamic project. The successful candidate will work on-site in Farnborough or Corsham leveraging their security clearance (SC) to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Someone who can design and then deploy the solution. Network specific tasks will include the following across all the environments.
• Review technical requirements (Spine & Leaf etc.)
• VLAN configuration.
• Environmental factors such as available rack space and power.
• Port mapping schedule to be used for cabling patching purposes Create a single Design document, defining configuration on each of the new Dell Switches and defining information such as IP address ranges, VLANs, port mapping for cable patching purposes. The order of how I see the Design & Deployment working is as follows:-
• Design - WP2.
• Network Switch (Production, Reference, Dev & SOC/SIEM)
• VCF on VxRail (Production, Reference & Dev)
• Storage Design (Dev & SOC/SIEM)
• Data Protection (Production, Reference, Dev & SOC/SIEM) Deployment - WP3.
• Physical installation (Production, Reference, Dev & SOC/SIEM). can potentially run in parallel with Design Phase
• Network switch implementation (Production, Reference, Dev & SOC/SIEM)
• VCF on VxRail (Production, Reference & Dev) - this will have - Management Cluster; - VCF; - Workload Domain; - Post Deployment VCF on VCF tasks.
• PowerEdge Implementation (Production, Reference, Dev & SOC/SIEM); Unity.
• PowerProtect/Data Domain (Production & Reference).
• PowerProtect Data Domain Virtual Edition (DDVE) Implementation (Dev & DOC/SIEM) PowerVault ME (Dev & DOC/SIEM).
