Responsibilities

• Receiving, processing and resolving fault reports (2nd level)
• Capturing, classifying and tracking the necessary information
• Forwarding fault reports and questions to the responsible authorities
• Informing customers about disruptions and operational reports
• Coordinate and perform installation, configuration and maintenance tasks
• Participation in projects
• Implementation of change orders
• Comprehensive support and technical support for our customers
• Independent development of proposed solutions
• Analysis of problems/error reports based on customer reports
• Readiness to be on call
• Installing and maintaining operating systems, databases, Servers, peripheral devices, network components and communication devices as well as their interfaces

Our requirements for you

• Completed apprenticeship as a computer scientist EFZ or comparable
• Preferably at least 3 years of experience in IT support in a global company
• In-depth knowledge of hardware, software and network technologies and experience with Active Directory
• Database knowledge of Oracle and MS-SQL is an advantage
• Interested in working in industrial automation or plant engineering
• Initiative, solution-oriented and team player personality
• Service-oriented, structured and independent way of working with a strong organizational flair
• Fluent in written and spoken German and English is mandatory, Italian and French are an advantage
