The primary responsibility of this role is to perform inspections, repairs, maintenance, and respond to emergencies related to Terminals, Compressor Stations, and associated assets.

Key Responsibilities

Execute repairs, maintenance, and emergency response activities for Terminals, Compressor Stations, and assets while adhering to applicable policies and procedures. This includes delivering exceptional performance within the relevant discipline to enhance work efficiency, maximize asset and plant availability, and ensure reliability.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance, asset management, operational activities, and safety controls to ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulatory requirements.

Provide support for the construction and commissioning of new assets integrated into the gas transmission system and other non-load related projects in accordance with established policies and procedures. Offer technical support within the discipline and competencies as needed.

Contribute to the development, review, and revision of emergency, security, safety, operational, and environmental plans and procedures to ensure the safe and cost-effective operation of plant and equipment. Safeguard the high-pressure pipeline system, including monitoring third-party work, and fulfil the competent person role for routine and low-complexity non-routine operational procedures.

Supervise and inspect contractor and working party activities when required, ensuring that technical and safety compliance standards are upheld.

Qualifications, Experience, and Technical Expertise

Typically, candidates should possess a proven background in maintenance and operations, acquired within a relevant engineering discipline such as Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or Control Systems.

Experience in conducting maintenance, fault diagnosis, and rectification work in the Oil & Gas (or similar Process) Industry within the relevant discipline.

Proficiency in inspecting equipment located in hazardous areas.

Competence in operating, controlling, and working within Safe Systems of Work. Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislative Requirements.

Possession of relevant Training Certifications and/or evidence of competencies that support knowledge and experience.
