Job Description:
As an Assurance Engineer at Nextlink, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our IoT solutions built on the Azure platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and product managers, to deliver high-quality IoT solutions that meet our customers' needs. Your expertise in Azure and your full-stack development skills will be instrumental in achieving our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Azure Expertise: Leverage your extensive knowledge of the Azure platform, including IoT Hub, Event Hub, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure API Management (APIM), to design, implement, and maintain IoT solutions.
Full Stack Development: Develop IoT applications using Java 11, Spring Boot 2.7+, and Azure SDK. Proficiency in Angular and TypeScript is a valuable asset, especially for UI development when needed.
Security Awareness: Demonstrate a strong understanding of security principles, including OAuth and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), to ensure the security of IoT solutions.
Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with team members and English-speaking customers, as clear communication is crucial for project success.
Database Management: Work with both relational databases (eg, PostGreSQL) and non-relational databases (eg, CosmosDB) to store and retrieve IoT data.
Version Control: Utilize GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Middleware Expertise: Familiarity with Middleware technologies such as JMS and IBM MQ is a plus, as it enables seamless integration with IoT components.
Integration Models: Understand and apply different integration models, including REST, SOAP, event-driven, webhooks, and MQTT, based on project requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in IoT development on the Azure platform.
Strong programming skills in Java 11 and Spring Boot.
Familiarity with Azure SDK and Angular/TypeScript for UI development.
Knowledge of security protocols, including OAuth and Azure AD.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
Proficiency in GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of Middleware technologies (JMS, IBM MQ).
Expertise in various integration models (REST, SOAP, event-driven, webhooks, MQTT).
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
