Job Title: Network Architect - SC Clearance - Cumbria/Hybrid
Location: Barrow/Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Salary/Rate: Up to £620 per day INSIDE IR35
Start Date: 25/09/23
Job Type: 6 Month Contract
Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for an SC CLEARED Network Architect to join their team for a six-month contract.
You will be working, in collaboration with the Client Project Managers, SMEs and Architects to deliver projects on time and above customer expectation.
You will be working closely with support teams and other functions to ensure seamless integration of the project work to the Run service.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
- Inputting into High Level Designs
- Creating Low Level designs from approved High Level Designs
- Configuring core infrastructure components eg Data Centre Fabric, Access/Distribution Switches, Routers, WAN, Firewalls, load balancers, Authentication Servers, Wifi controllers, management tooling.
- Performing impact assessments on large or complex networks.
- Performing testing to pre-determined plans and analyse results.
- Following "Acceptance to Run" process, handing over to support teams
- Expected to have undertaken other Network Project roles
- Have demonstrable experience of configuring Network systems eg Data Centre Fabric, Access/Distribution Switches, Routers, WAN, Firewalls, load balancers, Authentication Servers, Wifi controllers, management tooling.
- Will typically be qualified to Cisco CCNP level or vendor equivalent accreditation's
- Will be able to demonstrate knowledge of networks including network security, virtual private networking (VPN) converged networks and broadband technologies.
- Will have the ability to install, configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Voice network Infrastructures for enterprise organisations.
- Demonstrates behavioural competencies associated with frequent change, urgency and versatility

PLEASE NOTE: This is an SC Clearance role. Candidates must be a sole UK National and will not have left the country for more than 28 consecutive days within the last 5 years.
