Your new role
This position involves both driving the team's performance and providing hands-on support, including handling escalations, coordinating network operations, and managing incidents. You will be responsible for mentoring, supervising, and motivating team members on a daily basis, as well as driving technical improvements where necessary. Alongside this, you will collaborate with Mobile Networks, suppliers, and third parties to determine the root cause of issues and troubleshoot them. You will be tasked with providing assistance to your team and the wider technology team in executing more complex planned projects.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will have experience of being a team leader in a technical support/NOC/ISP/MNO environment where you have displayed technical and analytical abilities, gained from a career in networking. You will have a firm grasp of Ethernet, TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), Access-lists, VPNs, Mobile Data Communications and Radius, as well as experience working with Cisco Routers, Switches and Firewalls. The ability to interact with clients professionally during all interfaces is crucial. You will be an innovative thinker who is positive, proactive, and readily adapts to change. You will thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills are necessary for success. Additionally, any experience providing sales support to assist resellers and end users, is beneficial.
