Purpose

As a Fabric Technician, your primary role is to ensure the safe, continuous operation of Heathrow and Croydon Datacentre sites, with zero downtime as the goal. You'll handle planned maintenance, emergency responses, and small projects related to building fabric and services, maintaining a safe environment and complying with policies.

Responsibilities

Execute fabric maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
Maintain doors, windows, and related elements.
Manage first aid maintenance and raised floors.
Handle gutter cleaning, roof maintenance, and internal surfaces.
Assist with channel drains, handrails, and general repairs.
Coordinate installations, joinery, and desk assembly.
Support M&E engineers and minor plumbing work.
Ensure fire safety equipment and housekeeping.
Maintain records and oversee subcontractors.
Organize stores, materials, and compliance.
Adapt to flexible working hours as needed.

Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, and DIY tasks.
Knowledge of raised floors and metal partitions.
Familiarity with industrial building materials.
