SAP Supply Chain Management (£500 inside IR35), Leeds, Hybrid
The SCM consultant need to work on Retail S/4 HANA transformation project focusing Supply chain logistics area. Primary stakeholders are SAP Architects, Product Owners, Program Managers and Business/Transformation colleagues.
The consultant is responsible for the Design and delivery of Supply chain area.
- Over 10 years of experience in SAP Supply chain area
- At least 5 years of work experience in relevant retail consulting services engagements or business environments, implementing or using Retail business processes and application. Working experience in Retail grocery customer is added advantage.
- Minimum one implementation in S/4 HANA, preferably with Retail customers.
- Deep Understanding of Retail business process
- Experience in Solution and designing of integration with SAP- IS Retail ( ECC or S/4 HANA) with third-party Warehouse applications ( Either with BlueYonder or Manhattan )
- Understanding of SAP IS-Retail, SAP Master Data, Supply Chain and Logistics Execution, Material Management is highly expected.
- Understanding of integration points with Retail Master data, SD, FI, MM modules
- Working experience with a minimum one project in the area of fit-gap analysis, business process workshops using SAP Retail best practice standards, Retail specific solution designing and prototyping, functional specification documentation, Functional Testing, User training, preparation of cutover activities is mandatory
- Proven Knowledge and ability to demonstrate on Retail specific EDI/IDOC/ALE interfaces and batch job management
- Understanding and demonstrating knowledge on Retail forward and reverse including Customer returns, E-commerce
Specific Requirements for this role:
- Facilitate the implementation of SAP IS-Retail specific solution for your respective work stream
- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
- Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs
- Design, customize, configure and test the Supply chain logistics module
- Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions
- Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
- Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
- Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
- Working with a team of onshore and offshore Functional/technical consultants providing integrated solution towards the success of go-live
