Deerfoot IT Recruitment are looking for an SAP ABAP Specialist to join our client's growing team.

As the SAP ABAP Specialist, you will be tasked with providing technical support for ABAP related queries by configuring, monitoring, installing support packages and enhancement packs, getting involved in disaster recovery planning and management, tuning SAP systems and general support of a client's SAP technical environment.

To give you an idea of how this SAP ABAP Specialist role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:

• Carry out SAP ABAP administration for both ABAP and Java systems.
• Undertake and identify root causes of issues impacting system availability.
• Undertake performance improvements including monitoring and capacity management.
• Participate in the design of SAP Architecture.

To apply for this SAP ABAP Specialist role, you will need experience in SAP technical sizing and design, installation, upgrade, migration, patching and administration.

You will also require the following:

• Hands-on experience in integrating SAP products with 3rd party systems, applications and tools.
• Experience with SAP NetWeaver's SAP PI interfacing
• System Administrator experience for SAP BOBJ and BW
• Experience of HANA, Solaris, Oracle and RedHat Database Administration and troubleshooting.
