Business Relationship Manager (IT)

Apps IT are seeking an Business Relationship Manager (IT) to join our client on a permanent basis.

We're looking for a key member of our IT leadership team to serve as our international business relationship manager to drive engagement and strategy across our International Preventative and Rehabilitation business teams. As a BRM, you will partner with international business leadership and other key stakeholders to define opportunities, identify, and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria (eg, return on investment, productivity, compliance) and proactively serves as a trusted advisor and the primary IT point of contact to a matrixed, distributed international business team.

Develop and manage the relationship between IT and Client's P&R international division, a rapidly growing business with a very dynamic landscape in multiple locations geographically, developing technology strategies that align within the overall business & IT strategy. Ensure the business units understand the technology solution, overall solution delivery, and compliance to governance processes, architecture standards, etc. Prepare cost-benefit analyses for projects and assist business stakeholders in prioritizing projects submitted to the application governance councils. Work with stakeholders and project teams to prioritize requirements (within projects on applications) Develop recommendation for joint or coordinated application project delivery across business units in collaboration with other business units. Research, review, analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes, and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes; and Participate in the IT annual budgeting and planning process for the assigned business units, and track IT spend. Represent IT at internal and external meetings, working groups, committees, discussions, and meetings with management. Maintain regular communications with global IT staff to discuss issues, policies, and practices. Responsible to approve/sign-off on work items and time schedules for contract staff and monitor work to ensure deliverables are met.

Requirements for the position

Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of 5-8 years of related IT business work experience including experience developing and executing IT Strategy for $1B+ IT organizations. Big picture expertise and ability to think strategically and convey leadership messages effectively to all levels of the organization, including executives. Demonstrated ability to solve highly complex problems within and across teams. Experience with developing strategic materials and concepts for senior business and IT stakeholders. Proven leadership and influencing skills including the ability to develop relationships at all levels. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken. Additional languages spoken across the EU is a plus.
