M&A Specialist - 3 Month Contract
Circa £700pd Inside IR35*

Hybrid working (City of London office once per week)

Are you an experienced financial professional with a background in Mergers and Acquisitions in the corporate finance sector? We are seeking a talented and knowledgeable M&A Specialist to join our client's team on a 3-month contract. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the financial services division, working closely with SPAs, legal teams, and handling financial models and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs).
  • Collaborate with legal teams to address inquiries and resolve any legal matters related to M&A transactions.
  • Run, analyze, and update financial models to ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to drive informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in a relevant corporate finance or M&A role.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs) and legal processes related to M&A.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

*Inside IR35 (PAYE Umbrella): This contract is offered on a PAYE basis (via an umbrella company). The budgeted day rate for this contract is circa £700pd and this is the total amount we would pay your nominated umbrella. It is inclusive of holiday accrual and employer pension contributions. All statutory deductions (both Employers and Employee NI, Income Tax, Apprenticeship Levy, etc.) will be deducted from this figure.
