Financial Controller for west London based company
My Client is looking for a very strong Financial Controller for a longe term contract
The role will be hybrid attendance at West London Head office, three days a week, will be required
Please be advised that this role is inside IR35
The team also applies management accounting expertise to review the financial results and contributes to the understanding of the business drivers that impact the key performance indicators. The department is currently engaged in projects covering group standardisation of processes which you will also be involved in.
What you'll do:
Responsible for Group consolidation and reporting of performance (Financials - Revenue to EBITDA and KPIs - Customer & Product Growth).
Lead the month-end reporting process across our markets, preparing timely, accurate & highly synthesised information for the Group Director & CFO
Provides leadership to the immediate team (x2 Financial Analyst), establishing a positive and inclusive working environment that contributes to success.
Can allocate resource across the team to meet deliverables
Supports the twice quarterly Operating Reviews with Comcast, providing synthesized commentary on Financial & KPI performance, for the Group CFO to present to leadership
A champion for automation and process improvement, leveraging the HQ planning tool (Anaplan) to drive efficiency, always seeking ways to make things more efficient whilst maintaining accuracy
Excels at partnering with stakeholders across all markets, working closely with the Heads of FP&A and the market teams to ensure we have robust processes in place to report financial results with analysis that is well understood
Team members to have clear objectives.
Holds career development and performance conversations with the team and ensures appropriate focus areas and career development plans are in place
Promotes a culture where existing practices and processes are challenged and improved upon
What you'll bring:
Highly motivated and ambitious individual with the desire to develop further
You will be a qualified finance professional, and will likely have FP&A experience within a large Matrix organisation
Experience in leading a high performing team
Automation of processes and proactively taking ownership to see things through to completion
An ability to work within a highly controlled process-driven environment
Building great relationships with colleagues across the group's businesses and territories
Working within a fast changing, high demand environment, with the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities
Strong analytical skills (MS Excel) and presentational skills (MS PowerPoint)
Efficient and accurate delivery of reporting with a strong eye for detail
