Sustainability Systems and Audit Lead

A brand new opportunity has become available for a Sustainability Management Systems and Audit Lead to join an international organisation with sites across the UK, Europe, US and Asia. They create solutions that are intgegral across industries such as renewable energy, medical research as well as Infrastructure and more!

This is a vital role for the business that will support them to ensure they meet their goals of becoming a much more sustainable and meet the needs of legislation and stakeholder requirements.

Your responsibilities will include;

1. Developing and enhancing training materials to support the internal Safety Health Environment system
2. Support the Safety Health Environment audit programme
3. Develop training material as/when required
4. Be involved in Group audits to evaluate the overall effectiveness of the Safety Health Environment system
5. Manage, enhance the Safety Health Environment system, improving sustainability which will include risk reviews.

To succeed in this role you will need to have had similar experience in a previous role, good communication and stakeholder management skills. You'll also need to be open to travel when required internationally to sites across the world. Any travel costs are covered by the business, this will be a few times per year maximum.

This role will also require you to be in the home office location once or twice a week.
