Job Title: 3rd Line Network Support Engineer

Location: Bracknell

Full-time. Office Based

Salary: £35400 pa

iO is looking for a 3rd line infrastructure engineer with experience in any number of the technologies listed below to join a team of diversely skilled likeminded engineers to work collaboratively across multiply sites and accounts within a shared service. Your role will involve direct technical support for all of services to maintain a high level of support across multiple BAU activities and perform system configuration changes, upgrades and liaise with third parties and other internal teams.

Your experience:

• In depth Routing & Switching (L2/L3 connectivity) (WAN, LAN even SDWAN)
• Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS)
• In depth Routing & Switching (L2/L3 connectivity) (WAN, LAN even SDWAN)
• Firewall Management (policies/rules/security zones)
• Encryption methods (IPSec, SSL, TLS, DTLS)
• VPN configuration
• Router/Switch CLI experience
• Hardware and Infrastructure experience (Switches, Routers, misc ie sSFPs and different connectors
• Able to produce Network diagrams, HLD, LLD and formal work instructions for peers and subordinates
• DNS/DHCP
• Virtualisation and automation
• Basic Scripting
• Security Hardening of IT Estate

Desirable Qualifications:

• CCNA
• CompTIA Network+
• JNCIA
