Lead Electrical Design Engineer - Staffordshire - Inside IR35

Our client is recruiting for a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to oversee the full life cycle design process on a number of ongoing and upcoming projects.

This is a client-facing role with a mix of people management and hands on technical elements.

Please note that this is a hybrid role, with up to 2 days per week onsite in Staffordshire.

Key skills & experience for the Lead Electrical Design Engineer:

• AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN, SolidWorks
• Experience working with control systems
• Experience working with and implementing field cabling systems
• Control panel design
• Background in Electrical Engineering, HNC/HND/Electrical Degree or significant industry experience
• Experience with or desire to mentor junior engineers
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Role details:

• Job role: Lead Electrical Design Engineer
• Job type: Contract
• Duration: 6 months' initial contract with view to extend
• Rate: £400 - 475 per day
• IR35 status: Inside IR35
• Location: Hybrid, up to 2 days per week onsite in Staffordshire
