SC CLEARED - Network Engineer

• Salary: €50 per hour Inside IR35 OR €37.80 PAYE, plus €30 per day on overtime for weekdays or €50 per day on evenings and weekends.
• Contract: 6 months.
• Location: Corsham

Our client focuses on various areas including Defence, Government and Secure Communication. They are looking to get a Secuirty Cleared Network Engineer on a 6 month contract that is looking to start immediately.

Must have Current SC Clearance

The Role:

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of TCP/IP and routing, as well as experience with Cisco networking equipment. They should also be able to work effectively as part of a small team and have excellent customer service skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Team Lead as well as along side 3 other engineers in the team to monitor the network and highlight potential issues
• Be able troubleshoot and resolve network problems
• Work with customers to resolve any their network issues
• Maintain the IDS Network, the NOC IP Network, and the NOC services
• Stay up-to-date on the latest networking technologies

Essential Skills:

• Comprehensive knowledge of TCP/IP and routing
• Experience with Cisco networking equipment
• Strong customer service skills
• Satellite communications knowledge
• Satellite communication experience (VSAT).
