Position Description

Role:

Selling Electronic Security Solutions (Intruder Detection, CCTV, Access Control) across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Developing both new and existing business with commercial organisations (SMEs, Residential, large corporations)
Building partnerships with Architects, M and E Contractors and Main Contractors, both by telephone and field sales visits
Maximising on revenue potential whilst continually delivering excellent customer service.
You will be targeted to meet or exceed install sales and margin revenue targets, recurring revenue sales targets and activity and quotation levels.

Required Experience

If you do not have specific knowledge of Intruder Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems and/or CCTV Systems, you will need a technical sales background, e.g. having sold IT solutions and experience of selling in to electrical suppliers. Ideally, you will possess knowledge of information technology networks and knowledge of Fire Systems would also be advantageous. It would also be beneficial if you have previously sold into the Architect, M and E Contractor and Main Contractor marketplace.
As the Field Sales Consultant, you will be and articulate and talented new business developer and account manager with a track record of exceeding B2B sales targets. You will need to organised, with the ability to produce sales activity reports to deadlines and to effectively update the internal computerised systems.

Suitable locations may include (but are not limited to) Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, Stoke-on-trent, Dudley, Walsall, Redditch, Kidderminster, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Stourbrigde, Halesowen, Cannock, Lichfield or any other nearby commutable towns / villages or cities.
