Walser Insurance Services is a full service, Allstate Insurance Agency owned by Walser. The Walser insurance team consists of licensed sales producers (LSP) who are trained to help employees, Walser customers, friends and family understand their insurance needs. Our objective is to give confidence that you have the right coverage to protect what's important to you, at the right price. As an Insurance Sales Intern, you will act an essential link between our team and our clients to ensure prompt follow-up, engaged communication, and exceptional customer service. Throughout the summer, you will work to develop a new, innovative process that better enables Walser Insurance Services to build partnerships with their customers.

In our Insurance Sales Intern role, you will:

*Represent Walser Insurance Services in a positive and professional manner, and participate in corporate events that showcase the agency

*Generate a high volume of scheduled appointments for licensed sales professionals by ensuring consistent customer follow-up and positive customer service

*Embody a passion for the product and technology-you don't need to be an insurance expert-but you must be motivated to become an expert in your product through a dedication to research, growth and intellectual curiosity

*Completion of a sales research project that involves collaboration with company leaders to identify, diagnose and resolve company concerns

Skills, Experience and Education Qualifications:

* Working towards a 4-year degree

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including written, verbal, and listening skills

* High level of detail orientation and accuracy

* Technologically proficient. Prior experience using business related applications or systems a plus
