The True North team is hiring a Procure to Pay (PTP) Senior Analyst to be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, approving certain payments, preparing reports,, handling inquiry escalations, and serving as a SME for Accounts Payable work. Additionally, the PTP Senior Analyst will guide other members of the Finance staff (particularly within the PTP team) by sharing knowledge and distributing best practices. Lastly, the PTP Senior Analyst will work in partnership with various subsidiaries and field operations personnel to help facilitate process improvements.

  • Receive, investigate, and process non-routine invoice inquiries that have not been resolved
  • Successfully handle most non-routine issues and escalate issues that cannot be resolved to management
  • Understand and apply Delaware North's Procure to Pay processes, policies, procedures and internal control standards
  • Identify Delaware North client exceptions to the standard PTP processes and identify, in conjunction with business unit leadership, ways to gradually shift towards Delaware North's standard practices
  • Support training of MSP staff in performing more routine PTP functions
  • Support PTP Lead as functional specialist in testing and implementing financial system upgrades and patches
  • Requires minimal supervision to manage daily activities and can meet published Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for activities

  • Collaborate with corporate functions across the organization to ensure any required changes to policies, procedures, and processes are implemented
  • Work in partnership with data owners/stewards to align on process and data issues
  • Respond to inquiry escalations and acts as a liaison between departments to support Delaware North's overall financial processes.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Associate's degree in business related curriculum coupled with relevant prior experience. Preferably 3-5years of accounting/finance experience. May travel to support certain initiatives. Deep understanding of accounts payable function and accounts payable processes. Expertise in driving continuous improvement and business process management. Strong computer skills, including MS Office and PeopleSoft Financials or similar accounting software. Facilitation, detailed collaboration, and effective communication skills.
