Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to support the financial requirements of TUS. This position is assisting Accounting Manager in all accounting aspect, with concentration of cost accounting at TUS as well as product costs analysis. Additional responsibilities include maintaining and organizing the TUS Fixed Asset (FAS) software program, reconciling the various sub-ledgers (both system generated and Excel maintained) to the general ledger, and general month-end closing procedures. The individual demonstrating strong management skills and capabilities will be considered for promotion to Accounting Manager which reports to executive management of TUS. Minimum of 10 years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, including a minimum of 5 years cost accounting experience
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience
Knowledge of all Accounting Principles
Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint
Intermediate experience with FAS, PowerPoint
Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties.
