Position Summary:

Direct and facilitate the annual capital and operating budget process for the entire organization. Perform financial analysis of strategic initiatives by preparing financial analyses as needed to evaluate proposed projects or transactions. Implement, enhance, maintain, and support the ongoing operations of the hospital's budget and financial reporting system. Support the organization's cost accounting process by maintaining the cost accounting financial structure. Provide guidance to Decision Support Analysts, Budget Analysts, Management Engineers and departmental contacts to improve the organization's use of information and financial performance.


Bachelor's degree with a major in business, quantitative analysis, and mathematics or related filed is required. Minimum of eight years' experience in financial analysis and bachelors degree required or a Master's degree and five years financial planning required. CPA preferred. Strong communication (written and verbal) skills and problem solving skills are required. Proven experience interacting with physicians and all levels of clinical and non-clinical management. Proven spreadsheet experience required. Experience with Strata Decision Support including training responsibilities preferred. Demonstrated ability to prepare, review, and present a wide spectrum of financial analyses.
