Fulltime position with benefits at the Residential program in Long Beach. Responsible for overall day to day supervision of assigned staff and the shift to shift and day to day operations of the residential unit. This includes oversight of patient activities and staff responsibilities as they relate to patient functions. Responsible for insuring staff and patient safety through oversight of physical plant maintenance functions, working collabortively with Operations and Maintenance Supervisors. Completes or participates in various reporting requirements relating to performance improvement, fire life safety, and other environment of care reporting. Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements (suspected abuse, Tarasoff), professional boundaries, and related issues. Participates in community events, presentations, meetings, and outreach on behalf of TTC. Facilitates community activities with patients, managing logistics and ensuring successful participation in the event. Additional duties: monitoring patient flow/movement on the unit, crisis management/visibility on the floor, monitoring cleanliness of the facility, identification of AMA risks, enforcement of rules and approval of consequences, UA testing oversight and reporting, new patient orientation, oversee and monitor activities and schedules of assigned staff, oversee patient placement including room assignment as applicable.

Educational and Work experience requirements:
Ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED and Certification in AOD counseling. In addition, previous supervisory experience, preferably in a behavioral healthcare environment. Must have valid CA drivers license.
