District19 Community Services Board offers an exciting full time opportunity providing trauma informed mental health and substance use services to adolescents at Crater Juvenile Detention Center.
Essential job duties of this position include: completing MH/SUD assessments and treatment planning, individual and group counseling, appropriate documentation, and networking with the community. Incumbent will also be a member of local FAPT teams and assist with duties related to FAPT
(Experience, Essential Education, and Skills Needed):
Successful applicant must have: Master's degree in Human Services field, demonstrated experience providing MH/SUD services to youth; experience working with children and families, and valid VA Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications/Other Relevant Job Information:Prefer license (ie LCSW, LPC) or license eligible, CSAC, criminal justice experience, and crisis intervention experience.
Position is a grade 209-211 depending Licensure Status. Minimum annual salary is $47,476.00.
Bilingual (Spanish) candidate preferred.
Starting salary for new employees will be based on the prospective employee's knowledge, skills and abilities directly relating to the position's duties. Current or most recent verified salary will also be taken into consideration prior to making an offer of employment. Starting salaries for new employees will not exceed the advertised maximum and will be based on the availability of funding within the current budget.

Position requires valid Driver's License in state of residence with a point balance of -6 or higher, and pre-employment extensive background check and drug screening.
