Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager is a leadership role in achieving business growth through new business development, new account development, market research, and market development for the Center for Cognition and Recovery CCR. In collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer, deals with all aspects of securing, and maintaining client account management to include but not limited to the sales process, lead generation, and cultivation of professional referral sources, closing sales, budgeting and reporting results. This is a hands-on sales and marketing position targeting growth of different markets strengthening CCR's positive image and visibility in the community and market penetration.

Minimum Qualifications
Educational/Training Requirements:

College degree in business administration, marketing, healthcare, or related field; Bachelors preferred but not required.
2-3 years formal customer service and account management preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 1-3 years of proven success in outside service sales with at least 2 years experience in healthcare or other service industry; healthcare experience preferred.
Strong track record of service vs. product sales marketing and sales management success.

Licenses/Certifications:
Maintain valid Ohio Drivers License and proof of insurance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Understands the sales and marketing process in a service environment; understands the requirements and excels at performance management.
Excellent written, oral, and non-verbal communication skills required; strong presentation skills a must.
Must excel at relationship selling; strong negotiation skills.
Strong MS Office Suite skills, contact management database skills.
Can bring and maintain a sales mentality within a non-profit culture.
Easily interacts with a variety of people, is approachable.
Must be goal oriented, ambitious, self-starter; acts decisively in dealing with opportunities or crises, setting priorities and choosing goals to achieve business success.
Ability to multitask with ease.
Must be a team player; maintains a committed and cooperative attitude toward all job duties.
Travel 35-40%

Physical Demands:
Requires travel to multiple appointments; significant time in vehicles.
Must have access to reliable automobile.
