You MUST have the following:

• Experience as a DevOps/CloudOps/Platform Engineer
• Kubernetes
• AWS
• Scripting (Python, Shell, Bash, Java, VB, Golang or alternative)
• Agile

The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:

• Finance
• EKS Anywhere
• A background in software engineering

Role: Kubernetes DevOps Engineer (AWS EKS Anywhere DevOps CloudOps Platform Engineer Amazon Web Services Python Bash Korn Shell Java Golang Agile Finance Financial Services Banking Trading) required by our financial services client in Manhattan, New York City. You will be working in this newly established team of five to improve the Kubernetes setup in order to enable more frequent and higher quality engineering application releases for approximately 500 software engineers. You will be skilled in Kubernetes- EKS and EKS Anywhere for enterprise environments.

You will be skilled in Scripting (Python, Java, Go or equivalent). You will be familiar with a broad range of tools in the AWS suite. Finance isn't essential, only desirable. You will be excellent at collaborating with developers and motivated to continuously improve the environment you're working in.

Salary: $120-145k + 20% Bonus + 10% Pension
