My client is one of the UK's leading Pizza restaurant chains. They have two restaurants in Leeds with excellent public transport links. They are now looking for two Shift managers to join their two restaurants.
hift Manager's responsibility is to ensure their customers receive their world famous product Hot, Fresh and On time, every time by ensuring every shift is run to brand standards; drive sales, deliver WOW customer service, train & motivate staff all whilst controlling costs.
Proactively respond to performance on shift to ensure KPIs are met by driving sales, adjusting product prep and managing the team rota.
Ensure the Hut is fully compliant with all Food Hygiene, Environmental and Health & Safety as well as Pizza Hut standards.
Comply with stock and cash management procedures and keep the business secure by following policy and procedure.
Understand and meet KPI's crucial to the successful and profitable operation of the business using the in house reporting and monitoring software. Use the Management Information tools to accurately plan and deliver Great Shifts and then review in order to develop a deep understanding of sales peaks and customer demands.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with the Restaurant General Manager on all aspects of your role and the operation of the business. Actively support and assist the RGM to resolve any challenges and opportunities as and when they arise.
Assist the RGM to implement ACE action plans, customer feedback suggestions and Loss Prevention audits on an ongoing basis.
Provide coaching and recognition to team members to achieve and maintain consistently high customer service and team morale in order to drive business performance.
Pro-actively deal with ad hoc shift and business needs, such as admin and email, Area Manager or Head Office requests and contact, dealing with external visitors and other business situations.
Key Skills & Experience:
Proven track record of personally delivering high standards of customer service in a fast paced environment. Ability to think on your feet and pro-actively identify, understand and deliver satisfactory outcomes for customer's whilst maintaining a profitable business.
Experience of coaching, supporting or supervising team members and colleagues is desirable
Excellent planning, organising and delegating skills. Good time management and IT skills.
Experience in the Hospitality or Retail industries ideally in QSR or fast food. Team Leadership or Shift Manager experience is highly desirable
Online, workshop and On The Job training program will be provided. The suitable candidate will be enrolled on the YUM!!! Global training program to develop their skills and knowledge. The opportunity to quickly progress to Restaurant General Manager and then on to Area Manager and beyond is a proven route and often achieved by employees within the Pizza Hut businesses.

Salary: £17,000 - £19,000 + quarterly performance based bonus.
Hours: Rota shift pattern across 7 days - Open between 10am and 11pm.
