Job Description

As a member of the E2E SC Team, the Schosen person is expected to have an impact on the financials and value realisation of the E2E BU Supply Chain through their business partnership to SC LT.
2 main purposes:

  1. Partnering SC LT on Business Development activity including Transformation, Capex, Coman, and Sourcing
  2. Partnering MFG Director / Lead deep-dives to fully understand and address performance issues
Main accountabilities:
  • Business Development Activity to drive value realisation in E2E SC & Sustainable year-on-year reductions in cost / increase in ROIC
    • Partnership to SCF Business Partner Lead and SC LT on Transformational Productivity Projects (Odyssey, Atlantic etc.)
    • Partnership to SCF Business Partner Lead and SC LT on Business Dev Analysis (Benchmarking, "what if" analysis, financially modelling)
    • Partnership to SCF Business Partner Lead and SC LT on Major Capex Investment proposals / Capcom discussions
    • Partnership to SCF Business Partner Lead and SC LT on Strategic Supplier Negotiations (Coman)
  • Partner with MFG Director's team on Trade-off & Task mgmt as part of CoGS AOP sign off
  • Partner with MFG Director's team on delivery of Make budget
    • Evaluate CoGS Performance/ Liaise with SCF Planning Leads and identify any trends that need further performance analysis and intervention
    • Lead deep-dives to fully understand and address performance issues
    • Provide input and recommendations on trade-off within BU SC, budget transfers, opportunity/risk management, tasks, etc.
  • Capital project oversight. Support SCF Business Partner Lead and SC LT in preparation of proper business cases and review soundness of financial models; probe for alternatives; make recommendations to Sr Leadership.
  • Share best practice with peers in West and East SCF

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Role requires proven Operating Business Partner experience / depth &breadth of capability in Supply Chain
  • Role requires proven Thinking Skills, Hunger and Curiosity to influence Strategic Finance Agenda
  • Role requires proven ability to drive large scale change initiatives
  • Role requires proven Influencing Skills with highest level of Stakeholders (Band 3+)
  • Role is expected to make Significant Contribution to Long Term Growth of the business
  • Role requires to some extent both Tactical (without manager) and Strategic Decision Making (with reference to Manager)
  • Role may require some Travel to work on projects with the teams
