Purpose: To prepare and serve the complimentary breakfast.Essential Functions:* Provide prompt and courteous guest service.* Maintain inventory of food, beverages and paper products.* Ordering and/or purchasing all food supplies.* Preparing food by cutting fruit, making coffee and juices.* Arranging serving dishes, trays, utensils, cups and other paper products.* Keep self-service items replenished, i.e, rolls, muffins and cereal.* Keep serving counter and tables clean by wiping up spills and removing trash.* Respond to guest needs and/or guests in an emergency situation.* Washing serving equipment and returning it to storage after breakfast hours.* Return reusable food supplies to proper storage.Additional Duties:* Perform housekeeping-related tasks, including laundry, housekeeping and breakfast attending in order to maintain necessary functions.* Perform additional duties as required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* Knowledge of common cleaning products and their use.* Physical ability to stand, stoop, climb, bend, reach, carry and lift up to 40 pounds.* Visual acuity to inspect and monitor cleaning standards.* Good written and verbal skills to communicate to staff.* Ability to read and follow instructions.* High school education (or equivalent) preferred.Competencies:To perform the job successfully, and individual should demonstrate the following competencies: customer service, interpersonal skills, oral communication, written communication, teamwork, change management, quality management, sound judgment, attendance, punctuality, dependability, and initiative.
