Position Summary

A Manufacturing Associate's primary responsibilities include packaging of vials and syringes in preparation for storage or shipping. These operational tasks must be completed in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Operators must work effectively in a team environment to achieve company goals and must adhere to all company compliance, safety, and attendance requirements. This is a first shift position.

Catalent's Bloomington location provides drug substance manufacturing, drug product manufacturing, and related pharmaceutical services. This award-winning facility helps customers accelerate biologic drug development programs and bring better treatments to help patients live better, healthier lives.

This position will contribute to the Patient First philosophy by improving the overall quality of our products and providing direct linkage to improving outcomes for patients.

The Role

  • Actively promotes and demonstrates good communication and escalation
  • Ensure batch readiness by gathering tools, machine parts, and documents required for such activities. Retrieves components and equipment from storage/staging areas
  • Participate in area continuous improvement activities
  • Report safety, quality concerns, and recommend improvements
  • Safely operate complex equipment

The Candidate

  • High School/GED with 3-5 years of GMP experience
  • Associate's degree with 0-2 years of GMP experience OR Bachelor's degree
  • GMP Experience Preferred
