Responsible for coordination of care to meet identified needs of the patient/family. Supervises the management of patient care utilizing critical thinking and nursing process, discharge planning, resource identification, linking and scheduling patients with required services, monitoring care delivery, advocating for the patient, care planning and evaluating outcomes. Coordinates patient care across the health care continuum, and assists other team members with meeting individual patient needs. This is a full time position which may require flexibility of hours and is eligible for overtime pay.

Minimum three years acute care experience, required; critical care experience, preferred. Previous experience in a procedural area, preferred. Must challenge and successfully pass the Basic Dysrhythmia course curriculum within 21 days of hire. Basic computer skills/experience with computerized documentation systems required.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Required. Diploma or transcripts on highest degree earned required.


Current active unrestricted RN license issued by State of California. Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS Provider required. CRN or related certification, preferred


Care of the patient with Arterial lines- including assessment of hemodynamic parameters and waveform assessment. Care of the patient receiving contrast media. Management of Sedation/Analgesia. Knowledge and critical thinking regarding vasoactive and other infusions utilized during radiology procedures. Knowledge and practice of sterile field and circulating requirements of Interventional Radiology procedures. Manages the procedural patient including comprehensive pre-procedure requirements, intraprocedure care, and post-procedure management. Management of the patient requiring tube placement, stenting and other interventions relative to the treatment of their disease.
