Responsibilities and Duties:

Achieve growth-oriented revenue goals and objectives

Responsible for developing and executing a regional sales plan

Sell the full range of Western and Meriam branded products

Execute supporting activities with customers and representatives to drive sales and focus

Provide direction, support, and oversight to partner sales channels to ensure their continued focus on selling Western products and solutions

Identify and cultivate accounts in the region that align with Western products and solutions

Become an expert in understanding Western's products and market applications

Conduct strategic account reviews with assigned customers on a regular basis to review service needs and usage trends

Develop effective and regular communication programs advising Western customers of new products, pricing promotions, technical developments and sales opportunities

Develop and participate in product presentations, visits, and demonstrations to key prospects and customers

Lead training and product seminars with customers, distributors, and representative sales personnel on current and new products

Understand & keep abreast of all buying groups, philosophies and who the key players are

Identify new product opportunities

Provide feedback on sales trends, market conditions, competitors, and pertinent product information.

Support trade show activities

Stay abreast of key internal/external performance indicators as it pertains to the company's performance compared to customer's expectations

Ability to self-motivate and work independently or within a team

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Must be fluent in Microsoft Office

Ability to learn and use CRM software

Hard Working, Reliable, Professional

Technical proficiency

Comfortable selling technical products to all levels of an organization

Willing to travel (Weekends and overnight may be required - Estimated travel 50%)

3-5 years of sales experience in a multi-state region

Selling instrumentation or technical products direct and through distributors and representatives in the industrial market

Experience in manufacturing and/or gas control industry is a plus

The minimum requirement for this position is a college bachelor's degree
