Perform Electronic System design, administration, maintenance, diagnostics, installation and repair of diverse electronic and computer systems.

This list is ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY, and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and duties performed. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Design, administration, maintenance, installation and repair of complex electronic systems. Provide support to systems such as Video Management System, Access Control, Terminal Wide Voice Paging, Baggage Sortation Systems, Parking Revenue Control Systems, Flight Information Management System (FIMS), Common Use System Environment (CUSE), 800 MHz Trunked Radio System, and numerous other electronic systems. This includes their supporting databases, servers, networks, and cable infrastructure.

Possess the knowledge and necessary skills to design, administer and troubleshoot complex networked electronic and computer systems.

Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills while interacting with airport personnel and the public.

Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required in order to manage critical electronic system failure responses and recovery efforts, to minimize negative impacts on airport operations.

The ability to work both independently and with others in a diverse team environment.

Combination of education and experience demonstrative knowledge, skills and abilities equivalent to:
Associate's degree or certification from a recognized electronic technical school, or related program; Five (5) years of recent experience in the electronic and computer systems field and ability to design and troubleshoot complex systems at both the hardware and software level; andExperience with administration of complex electronic and computer systems. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Engineering, and/or Computer Science;Ten (10) years of recent and progressive experience in complex computer-managed electronic systems;Equivalent years of experience via the military or other complex operational environments with large electronic systems;Certifications and or training with recent experience in any of the following areas: Cisco, MS Active Directory, MS Server 2008/2012, MSSQL, Oracle, TCPIIP, Linux/Unix/VMware, ESX and Zen Virtual Environments.
